Apex Gated Run-In Shed

Open it up as a run-in. Close it off as a stall. Your choice, with the swing of a gate.

Why this style

The Gated Run-In Shed.

A gated run-in gives you the best of both: leave the gates open and horses come and go as they please, or swing them shut and turn your run-in into a stall whenever you need one.

Every model includes bar gates with a quick latch, 4-foot tongue & groove divider walls between stalls and an enclosed front between gates, all built with the same equine-friendly construction as the rest of our horse barns. Choose from one to four stalls, in a Standard model with a flat front face or a Deluxe with a roof overhang across the front.

Every gated run-in includes

  • Bar gates with quick latch
  • 4′ tall T&G divider walls
  • Enclosed front between gates

Every Apex horse barn comes…

  • Portable on 4×6 skids with pull brackets in each corner
  • Durable with tongue & groove 2×6 kickboards
  • Maintenance free
  • Chew resistant with corrugated metal sides and roof
  • Prevents condensation with single bubble fan foil under the roofing
  • Screwed & lagged together for durability

Questions

Gated Run-In Shed FAQs

What's the difference between a gated and an open run-in?
A gated run-in adds bar gates with a quick latch, 4-foot T&G divider walls and an enclosed front between gates, so you can turn the run-in into a stall with the swing of a gate. An open run-in leaves the front fully open.
How many stalls can I get?
One to four. The 10×12 has a single stall; the 10×16, 10×20, 12×20 and 12×24 have two; the 10×30, 12×30 and 12×36 have three; and the 12×40 has four. Stall sizes for each model are shown on the plans above.
What size are the gates?
The 10×12 and 10×16 models use 6-foot bar gates. All other models use 8-foot bar gates.
What's the difference between Standard and Deluxe?
The roofline. A Standard has a flat front face, with the roof ending flush at the front. A Deluxe adds a roof overhang across the front. Both are available in all nine sizes.
How long does delivery take?
Most in-stock horse barns can be delivered within 1–2 weeks of purchase. Custom orders typically take 4–6 weeks. Delivery is free within 100 miles of Irvington, Kentucky.
